The University of Sports, in collaboration with the Albanian National Olympic Committee, organized the first workshop of GEIN (Female Sport Leaders Promoting Gender Independent Physical Activity), as part of the ERASMUS program, supported by the European Commission.
The first workshop was led by Associate Professor Dr. Arben Kaçurri, with the topic “Performing Skills & Sport Diplomacy.”
Present at the seminar, the President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, Mr. Fidel Ylli, emphasized the need for greater promotion of women’s inclusion in sports. He stated that increasing the involvement of women and girls in leadership and management is a priority for the Olympic Committee, not only to fulfill gender equality obligations but also because their responsibility and work performance are significantly higher.
In this seminar, various experiences were shared by lecturers, coaches, and psychologists with an audience of Physical Education teachers.
